The little things....

I received a call the other day when a customer was coming back from an ordeal in a courtroom. Seems he tried to sell his business to someone, but after almost a year of not making payments he wanted the business back so he was trying to use the courts to force the buyer's hand. So why did he call me? Seems that during the proceedings the buyer had mistakenly admitted that he tried to transfer the domain name and associated website but the "uncooperative" webmaster (me) prevented him from doing so. He even admitted trying to reach someone at Godaddy.com where the domain was registered to get it transferred, to no avail. The seller was very happy to hear all of this and just wanted to call and thank me for providing a service that he didn't even realize he enjoyed in that all of our domain names are as protected as the law allows and that we will never make any changes to a domain name without the registered owner's approval.

Did the customer need to call and share this with me? No, but it sure was nice to hear that partly because of our standards and commitment to our customers someone with bad intentions was not able to pull-off their scam.

We understand how important your website and domain name can be to your business and protect them as tenaciously as if they were our own.
